Associate Director of M&A Are you a top-performing financial professional with honed financial modelling skills, strong business sense, drive, and relationship management abilities? We seek a driven, hard-working, modelling expert with potential to become a future leader within the Perseus Operating Group at Constellation Software, a fast-growing global tech company. The Associate Director of M&A will support the Vice President of M&A throughout the entire M&A lifecycle, from lead generation to closing transactions, with potential to lead transactions independently as your career advances. Job Location: Toronto, Yonge & St. Clair (onsite 2-3 days/week) Work Experience/Profile: 5+ years in top-tier accounting, capital advisory, investment banking, management consulting, transaction services, or private equity, with 2-3 years in mid-market deal execution Experience with small owner-managed businesses as a client or target Buy side experience is a plus CPA, CA, CFA, MBA are assets Attention to detail, ability to work in fast-paced environments, manage priorities, meet deadlines Strong communication skills, report writing, research analysis Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, financial modelling skills Flexibility to work variable hours and travel as needed Confidence for interaction with senior executives, business owners, bankers, lawyers, accountants, and stakeholders Job Responsibilities: Support the VP of M&A throughout the process, with opportunity to lead acquisitions independently Qualify targets through conversations and initial diligence review Perform detailed financial analysis and identify trends Build financial models for valuation Coordinate due diligence with internal teams Maintain relationships with acquisition decision-makers Applicants with disabilities requiring accommodations can contact Perseus HR at Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Business Development and Sales Industries Software Development #J-18808-Ljbffr
