We’re looking for experienced retail associates to join our retail teams at our Cannabis recreational retail store in Ajax. Here’s the type of person we’re looking for:
The Sales Associate's primary function is to be an exceptional sales person on the retail sales team and drive out cannabis orders for delivery: motivate your peers, product knowledge expert, marketing/merchandising overview, guest service excellence, social media posting for the store.

The Opportunity: Retail Sales Associate & Delivery Driver

The Retail Sales Associate will help 4K Cannabis Inc. in our Ajax Store, to provide our customers with a superior experience through information, exceptional service and the highest quality cannabis. This position is responsible for all sales activity, remaining knowledgeable on products, assessing customer needs, helping, and maintaining selling floor presentations and stock.

Preparing and delivering orders as per the delivery SOP.

**Responsibilities**

**Sales Associate**
- Welcome and assist all customers that visit the store within 5 seconds
- Professionally and courteously handle all inquiries, feedback, complaints or concerns
- Educate customers about why we do what we do and about our products
- Process payments with POS and computer systems
- Open and close the store accurately and on time
- Accurately re-stocking retail inventory
- Bring a positive attitude and high energy to work everyday
- Staying up to date on offers and specials and sharing with every customer who visits us
- Responding to guest inquiries with comprehensive knowledge and accuracy
- Answering the phone and taking orders on the phone and online orders
- Receiving and documenting inventory accurately
- Admin duties as assigned
- Maintaining sales goals on a daily and weekly basis to hit bonus targets
- Selling items on the push list and earning incentives added to bonus
- Closing and completing all end of day reports and procedures
- Ensure store is clean and tidy at all times
- Walking the store and checking all items have price tags and displays look good
- Updating and refreshing displays in the shop every shift
- Creating social media posts that will excite and please our followers
- Prevent cannabis sales to anyone under the age of 19, by reviewing government issued photo identification to validate permission to enter
- Assist in traffic flow management
- Protect company’s staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment
- Foster a sense of teamwork will all team members
- Ensure the security of all company product at all times
- Adhere to and uphold Loss Prevention systems to prevent all possible opportunities of theft
- Observe for signs of crime or disorder and communicate any disturbances to the manager/supervisor
- Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences
- Report in detail any suspicious incidents
- Previous retail or customer service experience; retail sales experience preferred
- Be at least 19 years of age
- Polished professional with excellent communication and organizational skills
- Works well with others, alone and with little supervision
- Knowledge of/ability to learn about cannabis plants, strains, products
- Strong attention to detail
- Positive attitude and charisma
- Ensure a high level of customer interaction, suggestive selling and enthusiasm
- Energetic and highly determined
- Working knowledge of Medical and/or Retail Cannabis an asset
- Proficiency in Google Documents, Calendar use, and MS office products and POS (cashier) systems - COVA or Dutchie preferred
- Delivery of Cannabis

**Employee Standard Requirements: Requirements - At a minimum**:

- Must be 19+
- All employees understand their obligations with respect to applicable laws, regulations, standards, and policies (Please review on AGCO for Ontario law)
- Requires own vehicle
