About Us_**
**_ What You’ll be Doing:_**
Zerto Account Executives will employ a hunter mentality in managing and growing the BC/DR software business in their assigned territory by enabling channel partners, strategically targeting enterprises within the defined territory, and work to close business in competitive engagements
This role is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced sales environment in an early-stage software company.
**_ Role/Responsibilities_**
- Achieve sales goals in terms of target quota and margin as set by Zerto
- The ability to articulate the Zerto value message to solve business problems for our customers.
- Develop professional relationships with key customers, support other sales representatives and distribution partners within your areas of responsibility, while providing first class customer service
- Develop and execute a business plan that develops long term sales growth for Zerto and its subsidiaries across your account responsibility
- Proactively work to penetrate new customer accounts and market segments
- Develop deal strategy and build relationships with key members of the sales organization
- Deliver formal solution presentations to customers outlining the value add of Zerto solutions in the context of their business and operational environment
- Participate with sales representatives and distribution partners in the deal management and forecasting process ensuring the funnel and forecast is accurate and provides a true indication of potential within your account responsibilities
- Simplify a complex sale and communicate the value to the customer using a proven sales methodology
**_ Requirements_**
- 5+ Year’s sales experience within IT (storage/virtualization/backup preferred)
- Ability to adapt and accept change
- Experience working with channel partners and large enterprise accounts.
- Proven “hunter” - High new logo attainment, strategic methodology and passionate about selling
- A “Closer” - consistent over achievement of sales goals in a large geographic territory
- Exceptional communication and consultative skills to employ solutions-based selling
- Interest in high technology and emerging market trends within the software defined data center
- Bachelor’s degree
- A self-starter needing low level management time and attention to perform day to day responsibilities
- Strong results / goal-orientation
- Team player able to operate in matrix environment
- Excellent networker
- Acts with honesty and Integrity
- Background with Force Management OR other Sales Methodology
