Their adaptable IT strategies are designed to align with clients' business goals and budgets, delivering measurable results. **Position Overview** **Job Title**: IT Infrastructure Specialist / Technical Project Manager **Location**: Primarily remote with occasional on-site work in Toronto **Salary Range**: $85-95K, depending on experience **Type**: Full-time **Key Responsibilities**: - **System Administration**: Handle daily system administration, troubleshooting, technical support, and network management. - **Project Management**: Manage and oversee IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets. Enhance project management processes. - **Solutions Architecture**: Perform tasks related to solution architecture, consulting, enterprise architecture, and pre-sales activities. Design innovative solutions that meet client business objectives. - **Client Engagement**: Collaborate with clients to understand their technical requirements and provide effective solutions. - **Sales Support**: Assist the sales team with creating quick budgets, project scopes, and detailed hardware proposals. **Required Skills and Qualifications** - **Technical Proficiency**: Strong skills in system administration, troubleshooting, and technical support. Experience with Windows systems administration, design, and setup. Familiarity with industry-standard software and hardware. - **Microsoft Products**: Proficiency with the full suite of Microsoft products. - **Project Management**: Certified in project management (nice to have) with an understanding of how projects should be set up and managed. Ability to balance multiple tasks and manage time effectively. - **Cloud and Virtualization**: Experience with cloud computing and virtualization technologies. - **Cyber Security**: Experience in Cyber Security is a plus. - **Solutions Architect**: Experience in Solutions Architecting, particularly with larger projects and SAN (Storage Area Network). **Cultural Fit** - **Company Culture**: Small, casual, "mom and pop" feel with a supportive and collaborative environment.
