X-ray Technician

**Overview**

**Duties**
- Prepare and position patients for X-ray examinations, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
- Operate X-ray equipment to capture high-quality images as per physician's orders.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including imaging results and related documentation.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to discuss imaging findings and assist in patient care decisions.
- Adhere to safety protocols, including radiation safety measures, to protect patients and staff from unnecessary exposure.
- Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, ensuring it is functioning correctly and reporting any issues promptly.
- Stay updated on advancements in radiologic technology and best practices in patient care.

**Skills**
- Proficient understanding of medical terminology related to radiology and imaging procedures.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to follow precise instructions for imaging protocols.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team members.

- Knowledge of safety regulations related to radiation exposure and infection control practices.

Pay: $40.00-$46.00 per hour
