Role:
We are seeking a motivated order picker/packer to join our Shipping team. If you have the following skills, education, training or experience, and looking for a rewarding career in the food industry, we would like to consider you for current employment opportunities at J&L Beef.

Shift Timing : 3:30pm - 12:00am

**Responsibilites**:

- Responsible for building customer orders according to customer pick slips
- Responsible for completing order receipts
- Ensure that products are handled in compliance with all internal policies, GMP and local and Federal Food Regulations (CFIA/ HACCP)
- Check manifest and ensure that all discrepancies are met
- Required to do inventory check and record the weights of the products and affix on the shipping wrap
- Ensure department is organized and stock is properly rotated
- Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures

**Requirements**:

- Excellent knowledge of all products (packaging skids, etc.)
- Must have previous experience operating power equipment (certification preferred)
- Must be able to speak, read, and write English and have basic mathematical skills
- Must hold a valid Canadian Work Permit to apply
- Knowledge of MS Office, Word, and Excel
- Able to work in a neat, organized and efficient manner
- Able to work within a team to meet expectations and deliverables
- Able to lift 25 kgs.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and flexible with shifts & start times
- Other duties as required by supervisor/ manager
