**Position Summary**:
The Manager drives the measurement strategies of the department via innovation in the development of dynamic, integrated information products that provide insights to inform actions and decisions supporting quality improvement, performance management, operational planning and externally mandated reporting.

The Manager is responsible and accountable for the day-to-day operations of the BI & Integration team related to development, sustainability and risk management of organizational and regional business intelligence and data infrastructure.

This role is expected to foster, enable, implement and sustain on-going process improvement to ensure departmental capacity of Data Architect, Data Scientist, Data Engineer, and Data Analyst roles, and is responsible for project and resource planning aligned with organizational strategic priorities and specific regional and provincial initiatives.

**Position Requirements**:

- Successful completion of a degree program in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- 5 years’ experience with healthcare data and analytics
- 3 years’ experience in managing cloud environments
- 5 years’ experience assessing and implementing processes to ensure performance and minimize risk related to analytics development
- 3 years’ experience in progressively more responsible leadership role
- An understanding of health informatics

**Position Responsibilities**:

- **Promote a data-driven organization by leading and actively participating in the development and implementation of a data strategy to ensure that data can be accessed, understood, and trusted at the right time, by the right people at the right level.**:

- **Annual workplan development based on organizational and departmental strategic and mandated priorities, for planning and execution of processes, infrastructure enhancement including server upgrades, analytics development, and audit, data lake management, and efficiency projects**:

- **Ensure projects (new analytics development, server requirements, new data source loading processes) have appropriate resource assignment and scheduling.**:

- **Provide skills coaching to facilitate the Integrated BI / Analytics Team development opportunities**:

- **Provide orientation and education to other Decision Support team members related to Integrated BI/Analytics concepts and planning**:

- **Responsible to assess operating and staffing models and make required changes as necessary; identify opportunities to increase team operating efficiency**:
