Following patient’s pre-established plan of care.
- Performing all tasks delegated to them and their training allows them to. These tasks usually involve providing personal care such as bathing, oral hygiene, and toileting; helping them with dressing, grooming, and eating; and assisting with ambulation, positioning, and transferring (using devices like a Hoyer lift).
- Observing patient’s behavior, cognitive state, and physical condition in order to report any changes or unsafe conditions in their environment to the healthcare professional respponsible.
- Completing computer or paper records of patient’s activities, communication books, and progress notes, and keeping them up to date.
- Ensuring the fulfillment of individual goals and needs as instructed in the client’s support plans
- Helping clients with leisure activities
- Ensuring the health, safety, welfare, and independence of clients
- Assisting and satisfying the social and emotional needs of a client
- Documenting and recording daily care reports which may include resident incident reports, restraint monitoring, and medication administration.
- Adhering to the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations set by the province or territory

Must have transportation, recent background check, and must posess or be willing to get PSW insurance. This is an Independent Contractor postion.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
