Successful Investor Wealth Management (‘SIWM’) is actively seeking a client service professional with strong relationship management skills who will provide high quality service to high-net-worth clientele and contribute to the continued growth of the organization.
Under direct supervision, the Client Service Associate is responsible for supporting relationship management across the firm. Responsibilities include arranging annual client portfolio reviews on behalf of Portfolio Managers, calendar scheduling, assisting with inbound client care calls, preparing client reports, administering client data gathering and maintenance, and responding to administrative client queries.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Schedule client meetings.
- Maintain calendars.
- Provide materials for client meetings (e.g.: account opening paperwork, reports, annual review material, and other paperwork).
- Quickly develop knowledge of a variety of forms and account procedures to assist clients in resolving their issues.
- Promote Firm services by enhancing relationships with clients through timely and accurate responses to questions.
- Troubleshoot client difficulties and questions.
- Answer the phone in a friendly, warm manner while managing incoming calls and resolving issues and tasks.
- Engage with clients in a professional manner while actively listening to their concerns.
- Respond to all client inquiries, update client files as required, and prepare client presentation material.
- Ask questions to clarify requests/concerns and take necessary actions to respond in a timely manner or escalate client requests to the appropriate parties within the organization.
- Record customer information within our CRM database.
- Develop expertise in the firm’s technology and software tools and platforms.
- Assist with the ongoing maintenance and accuracy of the CRM system.
- Management of client tasks and open items.
- Oversees the tracking of all “work in progress” items and maintain the team’s record of open tasks.
- Ensures notes and follow up tasks from client meetings are documented and stored appropriately.
- Utilize the CRM tool to accurately record each call.
- Other duties as required.
REQUIREMENTS (Qualifications, Experience & Skills)
- Wealth management/financial services/brokerage experience required.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a Client Service Associate or similar role.
- Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) preferred.
- A high degree of proficiency with technology including MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), CRM systems, and can quickly learn additional software programs.
- Demonstrate strong accuracy and thoroughness in all facets of daily work and possess superb organizational skills.
- Able to interface and articulate well with all employees and clients in a highly professional, timely and friendly manner.
- Exceptional phone conversation skills.
- Able to perform efficiently in a fast-paced, changing environment, handling a wide variety of tasks.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent follow-up skills.
- Ability to be self-motivated and succeed in a team atmosphere.
- Experience and knowledge to conduct client calls and answer questions.
Located near Yonge St. and Sheppard Ave. in North York, Toronto.
