Apprentice Heavy Equipment Technician

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Apprentice in Heavy Duty Machinery to join our team. As an Apprentice, you will be responsible for assembling, maintaining, and repairing various types of heavy duty equipment. This is a hands-on role that requires some mechanical knowledge and experience in heavy duty equipment repair or similar fields. If you have a passion for working with heavy machinery, enjoy problem-solving and want to advance your career, this position may be a great fit for you.
**Duties**:
- Handle day-to-day service and maintenance operations, as directed
- Maintain proper documentation, records and reporting practices
- Work closely and keep in regular communication with management
- Uphold all applicable company Health & Safety Policies
- Maintain and develop positive professional relationships with existing staff and management
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as an Apprentice in heavy duty mechanics
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and other industrial equipment
- Excellent problem solving skills, and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills
- Willing and eager to learn

**Salary**: $20.00-$26.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
