**Summary**
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team in Canada. In this role, you will play a crucial part in producing high-quality machined parts that meet our customers’ specifications, contributing to our mission of excellence in manufacturing.
**Responsibilities**
- Will include the set-up and monitoring of 1 or more machines on a priority basis.
- Work with colleagues in fabrication to sketch, describe and produces fixtures required to machine large and small parts.
- Perform accurate first-piece inspections using precision instruments like micrometers and calipers to ensure parts meet tight tolerances and specifications.
- Ability to analyze problems, perform complex setups, and make necessary adjustments to machining processes.
- Read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and design data to understand job requirements
- Using 2-ton overhead cranes to safely load parts into machine.
- Collaborate with coworkers, provide assistance, and maintain clear communication to meet production and quality goals.
- Set up, and operate CNC machine, managing the entire machining process from start to finish.
- A strong focus on detail to ensure precision and quality in machined parts.
- Select appropriate cutting tools, adjust machine speeds and feeds, and perform tool changes as needed.
**Qualificiations**
- Minimum 4 years preferred experience.
- Machinists with live tooling Lathe or 4 axis mill experience is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative
- Proven hands-on experience operating and setting up CNC machines
- Mechanical ability and understanding of engineering principles.
- Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
- A strong focus on detail to ensure precision and quality in machined parts.
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds.
- Able to work overtime as required to maintain production schedules.
