**Description**:

- Miller Waste Systems Inc. has been in operation since 1961. Miller is a leader in waste management and diversion, providing governments and industries with a wide range of services in the provinces of Ontario, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Manitoba. Miller has over 50 years’ experience in the waste management sector, and currently operates out of more than 30 locations. We are looking for a highly capable Swing Driver to be located out of our Brampton location in Ontario.
- Miller Waste Systems is looking for a Swing Driver with 1+ years of experience in the waste industry and with 1+ years of front end garage truck driving experience. A collaborative but strong nature is essential, and the applicant’s background in parts and maintenance and the transportation industry will allow them to succeed and grow within Miller Waste.

**Responsibilities**
- In the position of Swing Driver, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Must adhere to Miller Waste System safety protocols and must be familiar with occupational Health & Safety Act
- Must have excellent knowledge of and be familiar with the roads in the Brampton Region and surrounding areas
- Safe operation of an Automated Side Loader, Top Load, Rear Pack and Front-End Truck.
- Ensure Customers are serviced as per their contractual requirements and schedules
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills
- Meet or exceed performance and productivity expectations through proven results
- Comply with all Miller Waste System and Provincial health and safety policies and procedures
- Maintain your vehicle in a tidy safe condition and clean behind blade daily
- The occasional Saturday may be required in emergencies / holiday situations

**Requirements**:

- Clean drivers abstract and no preventable accidents in the past year
- Excellent organizational skills
- Must be able to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Flexibility with your work schedule is necessary as start and end times may vary. Statutory Holidays will be required at times.
- Effective written and verbal communication is mandatory
- You must have excellent attendance and performance records, as well team building, communication and organizational skills are mandatory
