This role requires flexibility, a clean driving record, strong knowledge of local roads, and the physical ability to handle containers. Excellent communication, customer service, and adherence to safety protocols are essential. Responsibilities:In the position of Swing DZ Driver, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Must adhere to Miller Waste Systems safety protocols and must be familiar with the Occupational Health & Safety Act.The safe and efficient operation of the Multi-Residential Front-End, Rear Load and Top Load trucks. Must have excellent knowledge of and be familiar with Peel/GTA roads and areas.Ensure customers are serviced as per their contractual requirements and schedules.Physical ability to safely push and pull various sizes and weights of containers in and out of enclosures and rooms. Lock and unlock containers and enclosures/rooms.Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.Meet and/or exceed performance and productivity expectations through proven results.Comply with all Miller Waste System and Provincial Health and Safety Policies and Procedures.During some periods you will be required to assist with driving for residential collections.The Swing Driver will be utilized to cover vacations, absences, and extra help with existing routes so start and end time are subject to change.Competencies & Qualifications:Must have a clean drivers abstract and no preventable accidents in the past year.Excellent organizational skills.Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.Flexibility with your work schedule is necessary as start and end times may vary.
