Cabinet Service Field Supervisor

The Service Field Supervisor manages the Service Technicians in the field by guiding, training, and identifying ways to achieve customer satisfaction, meet Gem Cabinets standards of Service, eliminate waste, create efficiency and improve the overall project completion experience for everyone involved.
The Service Field Supervisor will work in a fast-paced but casual environment and play an important role in ensuring customer satisfaction by actively engaging the Service Department, Site Superintendents and Homeowners in a wide range of customer service scenarios while adhering to quality control standards, jobsite safety and making sure building codes are followed.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Manage, coach and provide good leadership to the Service Technicians
- Ensure company and customer objectives are met or exceeded
- Manage the efficiency of the Service Department
- Maintain standards of quality and customer satisfaction by working closely with Site Superintendents and Homeowners to ensure the experience is positive and all concerns have been addressed
- Continuously build, develop and mentor a successful Service Technician team
- Perform field training for Service Technicians on a regular basis
- Work closely with other departments to achieve and maintain a consistently high level of service
- Manage fleet vehicles and maintenance
- Negotiate Service agreements on behalf of Gem Cabinets as required
**Knowledge and skills required**:
- Cabinetmaking & Service Technician experience required
- Valid driving license - class 5, clean driving abstract
- Excellent project management skills
- Excellent and effective written and verbal communication and exceptional interpersonal skills
- Excellent analytical and reporting skills
- Strong problem solving and negotiation skills
- Must be able to function with interruptions and deadlines
- Perform consistently under pressure and handle pressure/disappointment professionally
- Consistently follow up on items/tasks
- Ability to be diplomatic when dealing with clients
- Ability to establish and maintain good rapport with Service Technicians
- Must be able to work independently
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and customer service skills
- Capacity to create a sense of ownership and empowerment with Service Technicians
**Salary**: $65,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
