As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our kitchen operations and ensuring the smooth running of our food preparation process. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining experience in the food industry and working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in food preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients, and assembling dishes
- Help the cook with meal preparation and cooking tasks as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Follow all food safety and hygiene standards to ensure safe handling of food
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries of food supplies
- Support the kitchen team in maintaining inventory levels and rotating stock
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service and efficient workflow

**Skills**:

- Knowledge of basic food safety practices and procedures
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts as required

Note: This is a paid position.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $16.75-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 40 per week
