**OPEN POSITIONS**

Our Railcars Maintenance shop located at **9300 Boulevard Maurice Duplessis in Montreal** is looking for individuals for several open positions as Welder / Railcar Mechanic positions. The Welder / Railcar Mechanic positions performs welding and all aspects of repair and maintenance in GATX's own railcars as well as foreign cars. This role requires some experience in Welding acquired through Education or Experience. GATX will be providing all necessary training to safely and successfully complete all essential tasks.

Responsibilities / Responsabilités:
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to the following**:
The Quality Control Lead will support the execution of the quality program and its components to ensure compliance to regulatory, GATX and customer requirements. This position will also support investigation, discussion and analysis of quality and maintenance related issues and implementation of quality improvements at the facility.
- Perform after-repair and/or after finishing hold point inspections
- Document results and ensure defects are addressed
- Lead discussion on communicating findings
- Investigate trends
- Function as designed add-on approver
- Assist quality team with internal audits to confirm compliance with GATX, regulatory and customer requirements
- Work with applicable individuals to devise and implement actions to correct deficiencies and follow up on those actions to ensure effectiveness, as neededFunction as a technical quality resource for GATX personnel throughout the facility
