Adult Day Program Summer Student

**We are looking for**: a full-time, contract Adult Day Program Student
**Hours of Work**: 34 hours/week. Mon/Tues/Thurs - 8:30 to 4:30, Wed - 11am
- 7pm, Fri
- 8:30 to 3:30. On-site at our Adult Day Program 9600 Bathurst Street, Maple
**Reports to**: Supervisor, Adult Day Program

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist on the vans as needed
- Co-facilitate recreational groups
- Assist with general programming
- Assist during lunch time and morning snack
- Assist with greeting clients in the morning and helping to prepare for their departure
- Help with end of day clean up and next day set up
- Other tasks as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum completion of first year at a community college in a social service / recreational program
- Demonstrated knowledge or experience working with seniors with dementia or other cognitive disabilities are an asset
- Experience leading social or recreational activities with seniors is an asset
- Russian language is an asset
