Logistics Coordinator

**Job Summary**
**Responsibilities**
- Coordinate transportation management, including freight, shipping & receiving, and dispatching activities.
- Coordinate and track inbound and outbound shipments within Canada and to the United States
- Manage cross-border shipments, including customs documentation and compliance with Canada-U.S. trade regulations
- Work with freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, and internal teams
- Prepare and review shipping documents (BOLs, commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with customs, import/export, and transportation regulations
- Monitor shipment status, resolve delays, and communicate updates to stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with safety standards related to materials handling equipment like forklifts and mechanical systems.
**Requirements**:
- Experience coordinating domestic and cross-border (Canada-U.S.) shipments
- Knowledge of customs procedures, import/export documentation, and trade compliance
- Forklift certification
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency with logistics software and Microsoft Office
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in logistics, shipping, or supply chain coordination
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
