**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Assist bakers with the preparation and production of baked goods like cookies, etc.
- Measure and prepare ingredients according to recipes and production specifications.
- Operate bakery equipment such as mixers, ovens, dough sheeters, and other machinery.
- Load and unload baking trays and pans in and out of ovens.
- Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure proper product quality.
- Keep accurate records of production batches, ingredients used, and product counts.
- Clean and sanitize bakery equipment, work surfaces, utensils, and floors regularly.
- Package finished baked goods and label products accurately for distribution or sale.
- Assist with inventory control by checking ingredient levels and restocking supplies.
- Receive deliveries of raw materials and packaging; inspect for quality and accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to food handling and hygiene standards at all times.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a commercial bakery or food production environment is an asset.
- Ability to follow recipes, written instructions, and safety guidelines.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 60 lbs and standing for long periods.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices (training can be provided).
