**Job Title**: Insulator Helper
**Reports To**: Insulator / Insulation Supervisor

**Job Type**: Full-Time

**Position Summary**:
The Insulator Helper assists skilled insulators in the installation, repair, and removal of insulation materials for pipes, ducts, tanks, walls, and other surfaces to help control temperature, sound, and fire protection. This role requires physical strength, attention to detail, and the ability to work in various environments, including heights and confined spaces.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in loading, unloading, and moving insulation materials, tools, and equipment.
- Support insulators in measuring, cutting, and preparing insulation materials such as fiberglass, mineral wool, foam, or other products.
- Hold, position, or secure materials and tools during installation.
- Remove old insulation materials as required, ensuring proper disposal.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas on the job site.
- Follow safety protocols, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Operate hand tools and basic power tools under supervision.
- Perform basic measurements and assist in marking cut lines.
- Carry and set up ladders, scaffolding, or other equipment.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous construction or labor experience is an asset but not required.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Basic math skills for measuring and cutting materials.
- Ability to work in hot, cold, noisy, or confined spaces.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.

**Working Conditions**:

- Indoor and outdoor work, often in various weather conditions.
- May require working at heights or in confined spaces.
- Use of PPE such as gloves, safety glasses, respirators, and protective clothing.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: From $17.85 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
