The Department of Chemistry
The Department of Chemistry at Université Laval is distinguished by the excellence of its teaching, the quality of its research, and the richness of its collaborations. It offers rigorous and diverse training, supported by a highly committed teaching team, specialized technical staff, and state-of-the-art infrastructure. Designed to promote active learning and the development of practical skills, its programs prepare students to address major scientific challenges of our time. Selection criterias
hold a doctoral degree and have research experience in chemistry
have recently published research articles
be able to provide quality teaching of chemistry at the undergraduate and graduate levels in a French-speaking context
be able to develop a quality research program in chemistry
be able to interact effectively with existing groups and research centers in order to strengthen the scientific excellence and coherence of ongoing research activities.
Conditions
The salary and benefits are determined by the current collective agreement between professors and the university.
