**Crane Truck Operator**
**Nanaimo, BD**

Atlas Building Systems is currently looking for a full-time **Crane Truck Operator **to support operations in Nanaimo, BC.

The _Crane Truck Operator _will work directly with the Production Manager, and other members of the Atlas Building Systems team, and provide the accurate, timely and complete information, pertaining to their role. They will also act as a champion for the organization’s vision, mission, and values to ensure that the organizational goals and objectives, regarding design operations, are effectively achieved year after year.

QULIFICAITONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Valid BC Class 1 driver’s license with clean driver’s abstract;
- Current BCACS certification;
- Valid forklift license preferred;
- Crane operator experience preferred;
- Physical and manual dexterity to complete all assigned tasks;
- Ability to safely lift weight of up to 50 lbs to waist height;
- Strong problem-solving skills to resolve errors or omissions within task assignments;
- Strong desire to adhere to all health and safety programs in accordance with provincial regulations;
- Ability to prioritize competing tasks;
- Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
- Ability to perform detail-oriented and/or repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy;
- Acquires and retains knowledge and understanding through instruction, and/or experience;
- Ability to demonstrate effective interpersonal and leadership skills;
- Ability to take direction and collaborate with members of the Production and Logistics teams;
- Ability to collaboratively work with people of all ages, backgrounds, and perspectives;
- An open communication style with managers, colleagues, and peers whereby ideas and feedback are given and received freely;
- Consistently demonstrates ethical practice and integrity in their work;
- Experience with growing companies supporting builders, construction, or multi-site manufacturing organizations;
- Demonstrates a willingness to understand and align all efforts to the goals and objectives of the
- Fluency in English in written, reading, and oral communication (speed, accuracy, and proper expression) to work effectively with other staff.
