Positions needed : 3RNs, 4LPNs and 4 HCAs/PSWs

We are a dynamic staffing agency specializing in healthcare placements throughout Canada. Our mission is to connect skilled healthcare professionals with various clients such as facilities and home care patients in need of healthcare services.

**Position Overview**:
Start Date:

- ASAP
- Contract Length: 30 days to 1 year, with potential for extension based on client needs.
- Settings: Long-Term Care (LTC) and retirement facilities.

Shift Information:

- Shifts Available: 8 hour shifts (nights, days, or evenings depending on needs ).
- Overtime Pay.
- Positions needed : 3RNs, 4LPNs and 4 HCAs/PSWs
- Independent contractors preferred but everyone able to commute to facilities in vancouver can apply.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in various healthcare settings.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Uphold all health and safety standards in accordance with provincial regulations.
- Familiarity with case management processes and laboratory procedures.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Proficient in using electronic health record systems, particularly Cerner or similar platforms.
- Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to providing high-quality nursing care.
- Provide direct patient care, including assessments, evaluations, and implementation of nursing plans.
- Manage patient cases by coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care strategies.
- Conduct laboratory tests and interpret results to guide treatment decisions.
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records, including Cerner systems.
- Assist in pain management strategies to enhance patient comfort and recovery.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention.
- Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and standards of practice.

**Qualifications**:

- Registration with BC College of Nurses
- Previous clinical experience is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to various environments.
- Basic life support Level C for general duty staff nurse positions.
