**Parts for Trucks** has been an industry leader providing parts and service to the heavy-duty trucking industry for over 100 years. Operating 30 sales / warehouse outlets and 15 service facilities from coast to coast, **Parts for Trucks** offers a complete range of products and services for all makes of trucks and trailers.

We currently have an opening in our warehouse at the **Halifax** location. This is a full-time, permanent position.

**Details**:

- Prepare and complete warehouse orders for delivery or pickup.
- Prioritize a high volume of daily deliveries and ensure optimal customer service is maintained.
- Offload stock from transport trucks, receive and process warehouse stock products.
- Perform warehouse inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits.
- Load/unload company delivery vehicle, or customer vehicles.
- General warehouse duties as required.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Continuously improve parts and industry knowledge through research and training.

**Requirements**:

- Two years of similar experience and knowledge of warehouse practices preferred.
- Trained and experienced in operating warehouse equipment (e.g., forklift) preferred.
- Basic computer knowledge and experience with inventory control software is desirable.
- Knowledge of the automotive or heavy-duty truck industry helpful but not required.
- Knowledge of workplace safety procedures, including WHMIS and TDG.
- Ability to perform moderate to heavy lifting (up to 80 pounds).
