GHD is looking for an Office Cleaner/Janitor to join our team in Whitby - Sunray Street Office, Ontario.

Job Summary:

- Sweeping, vacuuming and mopping all floors
- Cleaning and disinfecting washrooms and fixtures
- Cleaning & dusting in boardrooms & meeting areas
- Cleaning & dusting desks and monitors
- Cleaning windows and glass
- Garbage / recycle collection and removal
- Cleaning of kitchens (including refrigerators), eating areas, offices and common areas
- Load and empty dishwashers & put clean dishes away
- Replenishing soap & paper towel dispensers etc.
- Moving large recycling bins from throughout the building to pick up area on first floor
- Other misc. duties as required

Qualifications Required:

- Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year experience in cleaning and maintenance, preferably in a commercial building
- Ability to comprehend and communicate detailed instructions orally and written
- Highly motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team, with mínimal supervision
- Ability to multitask and work within tight timelines
- Must be punctual, reliable & hardworking
- Friendly & patient attitude
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers & supervisor
