Programs range from primary care to acute care, and includes laboratories, pharmaceuticals and diagnostics. Additional programs that also support patient care and information, include Virtual Care, the MySaskHealthRecord and the Provincial Electronic Health Record. eHealth is also responsible for the administration of various pieces of legislation to manage the registration of/changes to all vital event records (e.g. birth, marriage, death, etc.), registration of legal name changes, registration of adoptions, and for maintaining the provincial health registry for health services eligibility and distribution of health services cards.

**About the role - Purchasing & Logistics Coordinator**
Reporting to the Manager, Contracts & Procurement, the Purchasing & Logistics Coordinator plans, organizes, receives, controls, tracks, and directs inventory control measures that ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods while decreasing inventory management inefficiencies through negotiations with internal and external vendors. For this hands on role, key responsibilities include ensuring internal and external vendors comply with government purchasing regulations and polices while adhering to warehouse and inventory measures and assist eHealth programs to purchase goods and services with the creation of purchase orders. Planning, organizing, control and direct inventory control measures and negotiates delivery schedules.
**Typical daily duties will include**:
- Support, coordinate, and manage the receiving, storage, tracking, and provincial distribution of material goods at all eHealth locations.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert to clients, vendors, and eHealth leadership on purchasing leading practices and processes.
- Conducting market research, jurisdictional scans, and analysis to provide strategic intelligence to eHealth decision-makers.
- Drafts and manages purchasing documentation, including templates, guidance, and process maps including Standard Operating Procedures.
- Participate in, and represent, the procurement department in various project and governance committees.
**What are we looking for?**
- 4 year university degree from an accredited post-secondary education institute focused on Finance, Accounting or Supply Change Management. A combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Finance, Accounting or Supply Change Management
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written;
- Proficient skills (intermediate level) in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel;
- Strong financial, analytical, attention to detail, and problem solving skills
- Knowledge of applicable accounting principles and/or procedures.
**Knowledge or experience in the following areas would be an asset for the position**:
- Previous experience with Inventory Management (Asset);
- Certification in Finance, Accounting or Supply Change Management would be an asset
