**Job Purpose**

Under the direction of the project management team, the employee will perform the dual role of Project Coordinator and Health and Safety Coordinator. As project coordinator, they will plan, organize, and direct the activities of a construction project. As health and safety coordinator, making sure policies that protect the employer’s properties and keep employees safe are maintained and followed.

**Project Coordinator responsibilities**
- Managing all tasks and deliverables assigned by supervisors
- Preparing job folders
- Travelling to sites for short and long periods
- Conducting site visits and surveys
- Conducting quality control through inspections
- Developing and maintaining project documentation
- Create CAD drawings

**Health and Safety Coordinator responsibilities**
- Implement safety plans while ensuring that they are being followed daily
- Conduct weekly safety meetings and tool box talks
- Maintain COR certification
- Conduct safety observation reports on a regular basis, depending on the length of the project
- Attend safety walks and inspections before or during each project to analyze safety risks
- Educate employees on safety standards and expectations as well as safe machinery operation
- Provide recommendations for improving safety in the workplace
- Investigate accidents that occur onsite and identify possible causes of the accident
- Maintain documentation of the company's safety procedures, accidents and related events

**Skills & Qualifications**
- Minimum 3 years working in the construction and/or sign industry is required
- Willing to learn H&S principles in Construction
- Project Coordination expertise and understanding of project management methodologies
- Track record of successfully planning and executing projects on schedule and budget
- Proficiency with office suite software (eg. MS Office, Google Docs, etc.) and project management software strongly recommended
- Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal and presentation skills and attention to detail
- Project management designation (eg. CAPM, PMP, PMI-ACP or PRINCE2) is an asset
- Valid Driver’s License
- Capable of development and delivering training sessions
- OHS Professional Certification preferred (CRSP, CSP, CIH, etc.)
- Familiarity with applicable legislation, codes, standards and best practices in occupational health and safety
- Experience conducting investigations and providing written responses/reports

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to $80,000.00 per year
