Position: Class 1 Local Delivery Driver (Team 51 - Victoria)

Schedule: 4 x 10 | Floater | Days/Nights | Start time 3:45AM or 4:30PM

Position Overview

The Class 1 Local Delivery Driver will be responsible for covering delivery shifts out of Victoria.

Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities include correctly offloading products, recording delivery information, accepting payment for goods when required, and ensuring operational vehicle safety in all aspects. The Delivery Service Representative is expected to operate the vehicle in a safe manner at all times, obeying all rules and regulations of the road, and following all appropriate company policies and procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications- Valid Class 1 driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract- Proven ability of lifting, pushing and pulling up to 80 lbs- Eligibility for bonding and transportation of dangerous goods (TDG) certification- Excellent customer service skills- Strong mechanical aptitude- A high level of integrity and a strong work ethic, able to work with little supervision and be self-directed- Professional demeanor under stressful situations- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment- High School Diploma or equivalent- Availability on weekends and holidays
