**Overview**

**Duties**
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles.
- Educate students in chemistry.
- Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters academic growth.
- Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance educational programs and share best practices.
- Utilize technology and computerized tools to enhance the learning experience.
- Provide tutoring support for students who require additional assistance outside of regular class hours.
- Maintain open communication with supervisor and parents regarding student performance and classroom activities.

**Skills**
- Strong knowledge of chemistry concepts and ability to teach effectively at the high school level.
- Experience working in a classroom setting with high school students.
- The ability to adapt lessons for diverse learners.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to engage students through innovative teaching techniques and personalized instruction.
- Experience working with tutoring capacity is highly desirable.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week
