**Summary**

Zedcor is looking to add a field service technician to help expand the British Columbia area and to service existing customers. The field service technician will be a crucial team member as we continue to execute our growth strategy. This position will be perfect for you if you have strong mechanical and diagnostic aptitude and can provide support for our mobile security towers. This is a field position based out of Chilliwack working throughout Alberta.

This role is responsible for setting up security & surveillance towers on customer projects, maintaining the current fleet of mobile towers and performing major repairs when needed. You will also need to perform a full tower check before and after units come back from the site.

- Inspect and repair towers before departing to the site.
- Manage all on site installations, repair, maintenance, and test tasks.
- Determine and perform preventative maintenance and repairs on site.
- Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions.
- Deliver and pickup towers when needed.
- Produce timely and detailed service and equipment reports.
- Adhere to safety daily requirements from Zedcor and customer sites.
- Follow all company’s filed procedures and protocols.
- Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organization.
- Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings.
- Build position relationships with customers.
- Perform other duties as requested.

**Qualifications and skills**
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, generators, and electrical systems is a must.
- 3-5 years’ experience in equipment maintenance and repairs equipment.
- Proven field service experience.
- Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Self-starter, driven, and motivated to work independently with little oversight.
- Experience working in a fast-paced competitive environment that is results-driven.
- Valid class 5 driver’s license with 3-years abstract.
- Positive attitude and team player.
- High sense of urgency and customer service driven.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
