Etobicoke, Canada Lume Kitchen and Lounge Full time

We are seeking **professional, courteous and reliable Servers**. This position can be **full-time or part-time (minimum 3 shifts/week)** and the hourly pay includes **tips and a health benefits option after extended employment**.

**Servers** are essential in supporting the restaurant's vision for consistent, high-quality service and ensure that it is delivered in a professional, safe, and efficient manner.

Knowledge of **classic cocktails**, **wine** and **casual-fine dining service **an **asset**.

**RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES**
- Providing gracious, efficient, and engaging customer service to all guests
- Memorizing all menu items and being able to describe them to guests, taking into consideration allergies and dietary restrictions
- Taking food and beverage orders while providing guests with insight and information about the menu
- Proficiently using a point-of-sales system to relay orders with the bar and the kitchen
- Delivering food and beverages to the guest, ensuring they have all condiments and cutlery needed
- Taking feedback from diners and effectively communicating it with management promptly
- Curating an enjoyable and memorable dining experience for guests
- Handling cash, gift card, debit and credit card payments and completing nightly cash-out
- Following all food handling procedures and always maintaining health and safety standards.
- Adheres to all restaurant standards as it pertains to cleaning and sanitation, handling glassware, silverware, china, and clean linen
- Working in a team and independently to fulfill primary duties in addition to side cleaning duties
- Adheres to the restaurants uniform, hygiene and grooming standards at all times

**SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS**
- 2 years minimum of serving experience in a fast-paced restaurant.
- Smart Serve Certification before or on the date of hire.
- Exceptional verbal communication skills with a customer-oriented approach.
- Skilled at working within a team to provide consistent service to guests.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Paying great attention to detail, cleanliness, and ability to follow health and safety protocols.
- Wine and cocktail knowledge is an asset.

We are a **new**, 140 seat restaurant in Etobicoke's Humber Bay Shores area. We value community, integrity and personal development and are dedicated to the highest quality of elevated food and service delivered with sincerity, originality, and respect for the diverse local community it serves.
