**Position profile**

Reporting to our Director of Aircraft Maintenance, you will be responsible for scheduling, coordinating, and overseeing maintenance servicing, repairing, and overhauling of aircraft managed by ACASS to ensure equipment is in good mechanical condition and safe for flight. In addition, this role supports the Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor and Managers with planning and scheduling maintenance activities for each aircraft, recording completed work packages in the technical logs, maintaining a technical library, and sourcing and shipping parts.

**Key responsibilities**
- Assist with planning and scheduling aircraft maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
- Coordinate unscheduled maintenance.
- Review technical documentation to ensure compliance with government, company, and customer policies.
- Perform post-maintenance work audits in accordance with applicable regulations.
- Ensure that CAMP system is up to date.
- Keep a current filing system of all maintenance-related documents and files.
- Maintain constant project awareness and ensure maintenance activities are properly planned.
- Act as a liaison with other teams and provide updates on the fleet’s maintenance status.
- Prepare and ship aircraft and crew documentation as well as subscriptions.
- Review invoices and submit for payment approval.
- Develop strong professional relationships with service centers, vendors/suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Source, procure, and ship aircraft parts.
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives.

**Qualifications & skills**
- A dynamic, resourceful, organized, detail-oriented, and personable aviation professional proficient in managing multiple projects and tight deadlines.
- A creative, critical thinker with the ability to solve maintenance issues, as well as evaluate, interpret, and explain technical information to others in a simple way.
- A service-oriented team player, with excellent customer focus and work ethic.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite software with strong English writing skills.
- Able to maintain a calm demeanor in high-stress situations.

**Requirements**:

- College/CEGEP degree as a minimum is required.
- Aircraft Maintenance Licensed Engineer is preferred, but not a must.
- Business Aircraft Type Maintenance Training is a strong asset.
- 2+ years of experience as a Maintenance Planner or similar position in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of, or prior experience in the private/business aviation industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of business aircraft maintenance, inspections, record keeping, scheduling, maintenance tracking programs, and logbook entries.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-changing, high-pressure environment.
- Excellent English written and communication skills are a must. Additional languages are an asset.
- Ability to travel 5-10% of your time to supervise tasks in external Service Centers.
- Willingness to work after-hours and/or weekends, to support AOG situations.
- Ability to lift and move file boxes (approximately 30-40 lbs.)
- Currently residing in the Montreal area and legally allowed to work in Canada.
