The Construction Labourer provides a variety of construction, maintenance and repair services related to County roads, bridges, culverts, and other infrastructure with a focus on public safety.
- **Qualifications**_**:

- Equivalent to high school diploma with job related courses in the operation, maintenance and construction of roads.
- Minimum six months experience in road construction and/or municipal public works maintenance.
- G license is mandatory, DZ license is preferred.
- Completion of approved training courses including traffic control, chainsaw operations, WHMIS, Transportation of Dangerous Goods, etc. is considered an asset.
- Demonstrated excellent safety record.
- Ability to meet physical demands of the position - lift 50 lbs., traverse rough/rocky terrain, stand for long periods, etc.
- Flexibility in hours of work.
- Must provide personal CSA approved safety boots.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract, Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $26.51-$29.84 per hour

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay
