**Stratford Subaru** is going through an amazing growth period, and we are looking for a **Sales and Leasing Consultant**. You will be representing an up and coming brand and align yourself with a group of companies that wishes to provide the utmost in Team Member and Customer Service satisfaction.

If you are currently in the auto business and you are feeling like you are not being properly supported, this may be a good time to come on board. If you have some retail experience and want to start a career in auto sales, this may also be the opportunity for you to join our team. We will hire more for involvement in our community than for experience. We can teach you to sell cars, we can't teach you to want to be a part of the community.

- Have a positive winning attitude, finding the best solutions so we can all win.
- You have some past Automotive Sales Experience and understand the need for great communication skills.
- Ability to learn and adapt to changes in our ever-changing world
- Strong desire to build rapport and work with the public.
- Perseverance is a huge asset. Some days things fall into place, some days are a struggle. You have to have the internal fortitude to shake it off when you get that one challenging customer in a hundred. To know how to deal with this, you need some retail experience, at least two years.
- You must be able to use the computer, our systems are point and click but you cannot be afraid of the computer.
- You must have some mechanical knowledge and be a good driver. We will teach you the product knowledge, but you must be able to drive a standard shift and park a car straight
- You must have empathy for the customer and be able to show them you care and want to work together on solutions together.
- You must thrive in a family environment with a team dynamic strongly embedded in collaboration.

In the beginning, we will teach you our system. We will make it easy for you when you are most nervous. As you start to be more and more successful, you will put your own spin on things and that's when you will really launch your career
