At Universal Railway Operations, we are currently seeking a
**Process/Maintenance Operator** to support our Fort Saskatchewan team at Heartland Sulphur LP.

This Operator works under the direction of the Shift Lead, who is responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of all equipment associated with the sulphur forming and handling terminal. This position will conduct and monitor preventive maintenance duties for all areas of the plant and document accordingly. They will also learn and fill in on shift when required to operate and monitor plant performance from the field to ensure plant operations and production requirements are met daily.

- Premiums for Power Engineering Tickets (4th Class and 3rd Class)
- Variety of work and onsite training for:

- Bulk Railcar Loading
- Liquid Railcar Loading
- Water treatment and Testing
- Air Compressors and Air Dryers
- Molten sulphur H2S degassing
- H2S Caustic Scrubbing
- Wet Prill Sulphur Forming
- Remelt Unit
- Material handling system
- Molten sulphur degassing and H2S caustic scrubbing
- Fire tube and Water tube Boiler Operations
- Front end Loader, Skidsteer, Railcar Mover, and manlift
- 4th class Power Engineering ticket would be considered an asset, but not a requirement.
- Ability to work and get along with all co-workers
- Communicate effectively with people verbally and written
- The ability to operate Heavy Equipment is considered an asset
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work equally well independently and in teams
- Physical capability to perform the job duties
- Mechanical aptitude
- Competent in the use and care of hand tools
