**CORPORATE CONTROLLER**

WERKLIV Group Inc., a Real Estate company specialized in land acquisition, property development, construction, interior design, marketing, leasing and asset management is looking for Corporate Controller.

As Corporate Controller you will report directly to the Director of Finance and be responsible to plan, organize, and manage all activities related to the accounting department of the holding, subsidiaries, and associated entities of the Group.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Financial Statements
- Manage the preparation of the internal financial statements and reporting packages.
- Oversee the preparation of the year-end file and corporate tax returns and manage the relations with external accountants.
- Develop, implement, and monitor financial policies and procedures.
- Provide analytical expertise in business analysis and financial modeling.
- Evaluate and streamline all financial reporting systems and accounting processes.
- Control accuracy and timeliness of accounting records.

Budgets
- Oversee the preparation of the revenue and expense budgets for all companies and departments.
- Monitor monthly results and compare to budgets.
- Highlight and investigate significant variances.
- Update budgets.
- Submit progress reports and discuss with Management.
- Recommend cost of construction reductions.
- Make recommendations to management group to reduce overhead and operating costs.

Others
- Review each process executed by the staff; propose and implement changes for better efficiency, speed and time.
- Train accounting staff
- Coordinate eventual system automation changes to our reporting process/structure.
- Integrate newly acquired companies into our existing reporting and system structure.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Degree in Accounting. A CPA designation.
- Experience with consolidation of financial statements and foreign-currency transactions.
- Construction and manufacturing accounting knowledge
- Expertise with construction draws (desirable)
- Strong computer skills; advanced Excel
- Superior analytical skills, detail oriented, excellent time management
- Fluently bilingual -English/French

WERKLIV Group Inc., promoteur immobilier spécialisé dans l’acquisition de terrain et de propriété, développement, construction, design, marketing, location et gestion de propriété est à la recherche d’un contrôleur d'entreprise.

En tant que Contrôleur d'entreprise, vous rapporterez directement au Directeur des Finances et serez responsable de la planification, de l'organisation et de la gestion de toutes les activités liées au service comptable de la holding, des filiales et des entités associées du Groupe.

**PRINCIPALES RESPONSABILITÉS**:
**États financiers**
- Gérer la préparation des états financiers internes et des rapports trimestriels.
- Superviser la préparation des états financiers de fin d'année et des déclarations fiscales des entreprises et gérer les relations avec les comptables externes.
- Développer, mettre en œuvre et contrôler les politiques et procédures financières.
- Fournir une expertise analytique en matière d'analyse des résultats de la compagnie et de modélisation financière.
- Évaluer et organiser tous les systèmes de rapports financiers et les processus comptables.

Contrôler l'exactitude et l'actualité des documents comptables.

**Budgets**
- Superviser la préparation des budgets de recettes et de dépenses pour toutes les entreprises et tous les départements.
- Contrôler les résultats mensuels et les comparer aux budgets.
- Mettre en évidence les écarts importants et les étudier.
- Mettre à jour les budgets.
- Soumettre des rapports d'avancement et en discuter avec la direction.
- Recommander des réductions du coût de la construction.
- Faire des recommandations au groupe de gestion pour réduire les frais généraux et les coûts d'exploitation.

**Autres**
- Examiner chaque processus exécuté par le personnel ; proposer et mettre en œuvre des changements pour une meilleure efficacité, vitesse et temps.
- Former le personnel comptable
- Coordonner d'éventuels changements d'automatisation du système dans notre processus/structure de reporting.
- Intégrer les sociétés nouvellement acquises dans notre structure de reporting et de système existante.

**EXIGENCES**:

- Diplôme en comptabilité. Une désignation CPA.
- Expérience de la consolidation d'états financiers et des opérations en devises.
- Connaissances en comptabilité de construction et de fabrication.
- Expertise en dessin de construction (souhaitable).
- Solides compétences informatiques; Excel avancé
- Compétences analytiques supérieures, souci du détail, excellente gestion du temps.
- Parfaitement bilingue - anglais / français

- Montréal, QC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
