PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Reporting to the Inventory Management Director, the incumbent of this position will be responsible for the control of the business processes related to the stores in Canada. He.she will ensure the integrity of the quantity data in the different systems, as well as the proper functioning of all the chain's physical counts (stores and Distribution Center).
- Ensure the integrity of quantities at store level in the ERP system;
- Ensure the follow-up of the business processes in stores while providing them with the necessary support and service;
- Ensure the proper planning, management, coordination, file processing, validity, and process follow-up for all annual or inventory cycle counts of the chain as well as managing the relationship and processes with our external auditors during audits;
- Perform various analyses to explain and justify discrepancies between different systems;
- Implement a chain-wide cycle counting program at both stores and Distribution Center;
- Develop and/or optimize inventory count processes and procedures to improve operations and provide solutions to problems encountered by working closely with the Inventory Control Process team. Constantly seek improvements and propose innovative ideas to resolve inventory discrepancies related to certain products, categories or suppliers;
- Act as a resource person for other departments regarding store inventory and store business processes as well as external auditors;
- Recruit, coach, train, evaluate, mentor and motivate staff;
- Work in close collaboration with internal Inventory Control team and other corporate teams.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in management or other related field;
- 7 to 10 years of professional experience in the field;
- Bilingualism in French and English, spoken and written;
- Very good knowledge of the Office suite (Excel advanced level);
- Knowledge of various business lines and best practices in retail industry;
- Sense of innovation and interest in finding technological solutions;
- Open-mindedness and ability to work in a constantly changing environment;
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
- Analytical mind and ability to solve problems ;
- Dynamism and great flexibility.
