Facilities Supervisor

**Position Title: Facility Maintenance Supervisor**

**Reports to: Facility and Utility Maintenance Manager**

**Position Summary**:
The Facility Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the facility.

**Primary responsibilities for role**:

- Provide a leadership role ensuring employee health and safety. Monitor and drive improvements in incident rates.
- Supervises all preventive & corrective Facility maintenance for the site.
- Oversee any problems of material and any relevant technical information to ensure continual improvement of planned work execution.
- Manage and oversee all work orders for the Facility maintenance.
- Ensure that all PM & CM are completed to the highest quality standard compliance, planning accuracy, backlog aging, and budgetary compliance.
- Work closely with Utility maintenance, and all Grifols departments, provide open communication with the employees, keep all informed of maintenance activities, progress of jobs, issues.
- Address notifications provided by Grifols employees and contractors which relate to Facility maintenance.
- Identify contractors for the maintenance of Grifols assets, work with procurement to establish contracts when required, ensure completion of work satisfied contractual obligations and meet Grifols standards.
- Support and comply environmental management system.
- Capable of making decisions independently but always inform the manager and owner.

**Qualifications required**:

- College degree in a technical field or any other combination of qualifications and competencies judged appropriate, vocational certifications, skills trade license.
- Must have a minimum of 4-5 years hands-on experience in an industrial/commercial environment. Pharmaceutical/Biotech industry a plus. Plus 2 years of supervisor experience or in a leadership role.
- Must have strong trouble shooting abilities to identify and resolve equipment problems.
- Has good mechanical, electrical and automation competencies.
- Working knowledge of building automation systems.
- Must be able to work with little supervision in a multitask environment.
- Should be proactive and results oriented, with strong attention to detail and able to complete work in a timely manner.
- Must be a team player, capable of communicating professionally with all levels of personnel.
- Grifols is a 24-hour per day, 7 days a week operation; and will be required to work off shifts as deemed necessary.
- May also be required to be on call, on a rotating basis. Must be able to change shifts or be on call at the request of the manager.
- SAP proficiency preferred.
- Directly related experience or a combination of directly related education and experience and/or competencies may be considered in place of the stated requirements..
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

**Sommaire du poste**

Le Superviseur, entretien d’installations est responsable de l’entretien quotidien des installations.

**Responsabilités principales du rôle**
- Jouer un rôle de leadership en veillant à la santé et sécurité des employés. Surveiller et améliorer les taux d’incidents ;
- Superviser tous les entretiens préventifs et correctifs des installations pour le site ;
- Superviser tout problème de matériel et toute information technique pertinente pour assurer l’amélioration continue de l’exécution des travaux prévus ;
- Gérer et superviser toutes les demandes de travail pour l’entretien des installations ;
- Veiller à ce que tous les PM et CM soient terminés selon les normes de qualité les plus élevées, la précision de la planification, la date d’enregistrement des demandes de travail et la conformité budgétaire ;
- Travailler en étroite collaboration avec l’équipe de maintenance des services publics et autres départements de Grifols ; assurer une communication ouverte avec les employés, tenir toutes les parties prenantes des activités de maintenance, de l’avancement des travaux, et/ou des problèmes ;
- S’occuper des avis d’entretien transmis par les employés et les sous-traitant de Grifols ;
- Identifier les entrepreneurs pour l’entretien des actifs de Grifols; travailler avec le Service d’approvisionnement pour établir des contrats au besoin, assurer que l’achèvement des travaux satisfait les obligations contractuell
