**Job description**

Reporting to the Director, Health and Safety, the Health and Safety Administrative Assistant (HSAA) is highly organized, discreet, compassionate and safety focused. The HSAA performs and manages a variety of sensitive and demanding administrative support duties to maintain an effective and efficient office operation.
- Strong interpersonal skills to establish working relationships with colleagues and managers in all departments.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to provide timely and high-quality safety support for all departments
- Ability to advocate for safety while understanding the needs and limitations of the business
- Strong decision-making, prioritizing and multi-tasking skills
- Strong initiative, drive to success, positive attitude and attention to detail
- Dependable, timely and cooperative
- Ability to maintain and update databases, track and gather data and compile reports.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a high-volume environment with the ability to reason and react with quick, thoughtful judgement.
- Ability to provide initiative and judgement to appropriately organize and maintain workflow and records accurately.

**Required Skills**:
Experience in a health and safety role preferred.

Minimum 2 years experience in an administrative role
