Due to expansion, we are currently looking for a qualified person for Quality & Sanitation Control Specialist to join our Quality & Process Control Department.

**Responsibilities**
- Pre-operation inspections (Approve the starting of the machinery according to sanitation conditions).
- Collect swabs for micro testing before production start up
- Collect required product samples at the end of night shift
- Ensure the calibration of the for the metal detectors and scales are completed and adequate.
- Perform quality training to Operators.
- Ensure Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) by being present in the production zones.
- Manage released and held products.
- Analyse product quality at each stage according product specification and SQF.
- Perform inspections required under the HACCP program.
- Ensure the manufacturing process is respected.
- Evaluate raw meat at reception upon its arrival.
- Ensure compliance with product quality specifications and traceability.
- Communicate non-conformities and complaints and follow up the required corrective actions.
- Revise and file documentation.
- Respect the established company operations procedures to ensure a high standard of food safety and quality.
- Participate in annual internal Audit
- WHIMIS training for sanitation employees
- Perform Pre op Inspection method training to sanitation employees
- Validate Sanitation process by doing ATP/Allergen test
- Reviewing sanitation procedures with supervisor and make sure the methods are updated
- Evaluate sanitation employee’s performance
- Special projects as assigned by QC Manager or QA Director.

**Skills and Abilities**
- University Degree in Food science, food engineering or related fields.
- 1+ years of experience in a similar role in the food industry.
- Good knowledge of HACCP & SQF.
- Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills in French and English.
- Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook).

**Sommaire**

Expresco est fondée sur le concept de combler une niche dans l'industrie de la restauration des brochettes prêtes à l'emploi. Notre activité principale consiste à fournir de la viande en bâtonnet à valeur ajoutée à portion contrôlée pour l'industrie de la restauration et de la vente au détail sous la marque Expresco ainsi que pour les clients sous leurs propres marques privées. En raison de l'expansion, nous recherchons actuellement une personne qualifiée pour un spécialiste du contrôle de la qualité et de l'assainissement pour rejoindre notre département de contrôle de la qualité et des processus.

**Responsabilités**
- Inspections pré-opération (Approuver le démarrage de la machine selon les conditions sanitaires).
- Recueillir des écouvillons pour des micro-tests avant le démarrage de la production
- Recueillir les échantillons de produits requis à la fin du quart de nuit
- Assurez-vous que l'étalonnage des détecteurs de métaux et des balances est terminé et adéquat.
- Donner une formation de qualité aux Opérateurs.
- Garantir les Bonnes Pratiques de Fabrication (BPF) en étant présent dans les zones de production.
- Gérer les produits lancés et retenus.
- Analyser la qualité du produit à chaque étape selon les spécifications du produit et le SQF.
- Effectuer les inspections requises dans le cadre du programme HACCP.
- S'assurer que le processus de fabrication est respecté.
- Évaluer la viande crue à la réception dès son arrivée.
- Assurer le respect des spécifications de qualité et de traçabilité des produits.
- Communiquer les non-conformités et les réclamations et assurer le suivi des actions correctives requises.
- Réviser et classer la documentation.
- Respecter les procédures d'exploitation établies de l'entreprise pour assurer un niveau élevé de salubrité et de qualité des aliments.
- Participer à l'audit interne annuel
- Formation SIMDUT pour les employés de l'assainissement
- Donner une formation sur la méthode d'inspection pré-opératoire aux employés de l'assainissement
- Valider le processus d'assainissement en effectuant un test ATP/allergène
- Examiner les procédures d'assainissement avec le superviseur et s'assurer que les méthodes sont mises à jour
- Évaluer la performance des employés de l'assainissement
- Projets spéciaux assignés par le responsable du contrôle qualité ou le directeur de l'assurance qualité.

- Diplôme uni
