The role of a Product Coordinator is to provide support to the product management process and the planning of purchasing programs, in order to offer the requested products to our franchises. We can count on this person to provide detailed information on the evolution of a product, in addition to being the link between the Consumer Brand and the purchasing department of the Laval office. For clothing, equipment and footwear, the Product Coordinator takes care of everything related to Consumer Brand products (price list (evaluation), product integration files, purchase orders, samples, product presentation, deliveries, support to franchises, and inventory at the DC).
**Responsibilities**
- Distribution of product information to buyers and the marketing team of various divisions. Create sales materials with the Consumer Brand team (catalog construction) and information needed to support the product sales force. This includes printed and electronic materials, product training materials, product costs, retail item prices, and other data (Price, MOQ, Corpo Selection, samples, specifications, selection of other banners).
- Contribute to the smooth running of all phases of product development (between buyers and Consumer Brand).
- Presentation of banner advertising programs during purchasing presentations. Product launches and sample management (presentations in PowerPoint).
- Sales and inventory reports (run reports for monthly product manager analysis)
- Make the integration and corrections of the products for different purchasing presentations. Printing of product cards and advertised labels.
- Follow-up of deliveries (delays, problems).
- Manage and sell inventory at the Mississauga warehouse.
- Preparation of descriptions of advertised and circular products. Make sure you have the samples and/or products and/or photo of the products.
- Create purchase orders to Consumer Brand
- Order entry (for repeat orders)
- Reporting /Analysis/Store Checks - sell through analysis, competitive brand research, comparative sales, and margin reports.
- Coordinate any store operations/merchant special requests, in store product knowledge (PK per division)
- Perform other duties related to the position.
**Skills and Required Experience**
- Post-secondary degree in business administration or commerce an asset or relevant experience
- One or two years of experience in the retail market
- 3 to 5 years of experience in the sports field
- Work with mínimal supervision
- Be able to work on more than one project at a time
- Be attentive to details and be able to take initiative
- Very good organizational skills and ability to effectively prioritize workload
- Knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, AX, BSWP, and Outlook
- Collaboration with other departments (marketing, operations, distribution center, the Calgary office)
- Available to work evenings and weekends on occasion
- Experience meeting deadlines and multiple goals at once
- Ability to work under pressure
- Bilingualism, French and English (spoken and written)
