SB Canada is currently seeking a permanent, full-time Project Controls Manager / Administrative Agent to join our organization. The Project Controls Manager / Administrative Agent will report to the Vice President, BC region and is responsible in providing project control support to all Project Teams (Delivery and Operations) ensuring effective management of project schedules and cost control mechanisms. Preferred location will be to work from our office in Richmond, BC.

As a Project Controls Manager / Administrative Agent, the Employee is required to perform the duties outlined as Schedule “A”.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF POSITION**
- Work independently and as a team member by acting as a strong internal resource to all Project Teams to support the effective management of project schedules and cost control mechanisms within British Columbia
- Assist in providing internal and external reporting for multiple projects by assisting PMs and Coordinators
- Develop programs and provide support for management of internal resource commitments including personal and equipment and Purchases
- Support Project change management duties as required
- Track Client Invoicing to Clients and assist PMs & Coordinators in management of cash flow
- Develop and maintain corporate KPIs relevant to the position function
- Develop site specific Project Control Plans for items within the scope of this role
- Work with Project Delivery teams to identify and suggest corrective measures to maintain costs within targeted budget
- Manage the cost life-cycle of projects with PMs and Coordinators. This includes creating and tracking of the Purchase Orders, Receipting of costs in Harmony, and generating cost reports
- Assist in reconciliation of invoices from 3rdparties
- Develop, deploy and provide stewardship of company training programs relevant to the position function for all stakeholders
- Develop and deploy corporate policy relevant to position function where required
- Support the West (British Columbia) Project teams, as required including administrative requirements for the Richmond Office
- Periodic travel to other offices and project sites as required
- Be an active participant in SB Canada’s Health and Safety Program

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Post secondary degree or Diploma in engineering, finance, business or project administration
- Minimum 5 years administrative and data manipulation role
- Proficient in Microsoft Software, specifically excel and Word
- Well-developed interpersonal customer service and relationship-building skills
- Good oral and written English-language skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Self-motivated, energetic and reliable with a positive disposition
- The ability to work under pressure and to prioritize work effectively
- Strong attention to detail

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
