**About the Role**

**Key Responsibilities**:
**-Site Oversight & Crew Coordination**:

- Work in close collaboration with the Production Manager by:

- Reporting real-time updates and observations from job sites.
- Identifying crew needs, performance issues, or staffing challenges.
- Act as the Production Manager’s backup during their absence (vacation, sick leave, etc.).
- Support crew efficiency by helping with planning, coordination, and jobsite setup.

**-Quality Assurance**:

- Perform regular site inspections to verify workmanship meets company standards and project specifications.
- Conduct final walkthroughs to ensure satisfaction and address deficiencies.
- Proactively resolve customer concerns during and after project completion.
- Ensure materials are properly installed per manufacturer requirements.

**-Health & Safety Compliance**:

- Enforce all health and safety protocols across job sites, fleet operations, and the shop.
- Confirm that safety equipment is available, up-to-date, and used correctly by all personnel.
- Address and resolve safety violations or hazards promptly.
- Participate in and lead toolbox talks and on-site safety meetings when needed.

**-Equipment & Vehicle Maintenance**:

- Ensure tools, equipment, and company vehicles are maintained according to the maintenance schedule.
- Coordinate repairs or replacements as needed, and maintain logs or checklists.

**-Driver & Logistics Support**:

- Assist in dispatching and coordinating drivers.
- Serve as a backup for the Driver Supervisor during their absence.
- Oversee loading/unloading and ensure proper material delivery to sites.

**-Subcontractor & Supplier Coordination**:

- Liaise with subcontractors when applicable to ensure scheduling, quality, and site readiness.
- Help manage material deliveries and coordinate with suppliers for timely drop-offs.

**-Documentation & Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of site activities, safety inspections, and issues encountered.
- Provide daily or weekly updates to management as needed.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 10 years experience in flat roofing
- 5+ years of supervisory or foreman experience preferred
- Strong understanding of roofing systems like TPO, EPDM, PVC, BUR, Mod-Bit
- Clean driving abstract and own vehicle
- Apt at receiving detail and follow instructions
- Eager to learn
- Customer service experience
- Certification from flat roofing manufacturer
- Experience reading blueprints and specs
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of safety regulations (e.g., fall protection, WHMIS, ESA)
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple crews/jobs
- Comfortable with technology

Compensation commensurate with experience. Benefits are part of the Compensation package.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
