**Main duties/Specific skills**:

- Assign sales workers to duties and prepare work schedules
- Sell merchandise to customers and operate cash register and computer for electronic commerce transactions
- Authorize payments by cheque, credit/debit cards and the return of merchandise
- Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages
- Maintain specified inventory and order merchandise
- Prepare reports regarding sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters
- Use barcode scanning equipment to record incoming stock, verify pricing and maintain computerized stock inventory
- Price items using stamp or stickers according to price list and prepare reports on sales volumes.

- Hire and train or arrange for the training of sales staff
