**What You'll Bring**:
- A University/College degree is preferred in business, communications, marketing or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Requires 5-7 years of sales or account management experience in a credit reporting or related industry plus in depth experience either in banking/insurance, retail credit or consumer credit reporting industries.
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as effective listening skills.
- Must possess the ability to successfully interact with front-line and upper management to present solutions and resolve problems.
- Ability to effectively create and execute a sales plan to gain market share and increase market penetration.
- Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical customers. Must be able to work effectively in a team environment. Possesses in-depth knowledge of TransUnion core solutions including those supported by other BU (i.e true credit, batch).
- Aware of the legislative environment in which the customer is operating and has a working knowledge of all compliance related issues and procedures.
**Impact You'll Make**:
This position is responsible for day to day sales to an assigned group of clients to defend and grow revenue. In addition, works with a senior sales executive on a select group of high growth potential accounts to win net new revenue opportunities and significantly grow the business.
- Account planning and the defending of existing relationships, through the effective day-to-day management of allocated accounts in the Mid-Market Vertical.
- Maximize account penetration by increasing depth and breadth of TU solutions across customer’s organization.
- Implement an account review process that ensures constant opportunity development for the sales pipeline and closing of new business and renewal of existing business
- Establish and maintain day to day account relationships and meet personal sales targets within the full line of products
- Ensures the continuous development of sales opportunities throughout the various stages of the sales cycle and executes on sales plans for major accounts where cultivating relationships, identifying opportunities, and account management skills are critical
- Develop customer contact opportunities outside the normal sales cycle
- Develop the sales function expertise through on-going personal training and education.
- Monitors own effectiveness of sales and after sales efforts in context of business plans and strategies, and recommend improvements to process and approach where indicated.
- Build and leverage relationships with other TU departments, including accounting, operations and other sales groups to meet the needs of the customer.
- Proactively research and stays abreast of industry changes; drive education of the customer and other members of sales staff.
