**What You'll Be Doing**:
- Liaising with CFIA representatives and being the point of contact for company interactions with on-site inspectors.- Meeting with production supervisors and managers to ensure compliance with standards, determining methods to resolve any issues that arise.- Reviewing customer feedback posted and responding to any enquiries that arise from other departments.- Preparing monthly reports on food quality status for the facility to relay to the Quality Director.- Managing a team of Quality Assurance Technicians who support daily quality processes for the facility.- Communicating quality standards, parameters and updates to QA processes to appropriate team leads.- Overseeing the daily workflow and scheduling of the department and assigning tasks accordingly to ensure all requirements for the facility are fulfilled.- Ensuring all technical documents in use are kept up-to date. Maintaining the integrity and security of all master documents such as policies and SOPs in accordance with GMP.- Assisting in the coordination of testing results and related release and hold programs involving finished products, raw materials and packaging components.- Analyzing internal and external audit outcomes and carrying out appropriate corrective procedures and continuous improvement.- Working as a liaison with other departments on implementation projects and new procedures.- Reviewing daily reports and required regulatory inspections to ensure compliance and monthly continuous improvement initiatives are followed.- Implementing procedures for sampling and quality checks and guidelines for collection and reporting quality data.- Performing internal audits and vendor evaluation audits on a regular basis to determine quality qualifications. Actively participate in external audits such as regulatory inspections.- Performing analysis of reports and production data to identify trends and recommend updates or changes to quality standards and procedures where necessary.

**What We Are Looking For**:
- Post-secondary degree and prior HACCP training or equivalent experience.- Certification such as Quality Engineer, Quality Auditor, or Quality Improvement Associate is preferred.- Relevant long-term experience, knowledge of regulatory requirements- Food manufacturing industry experience or experience with related product groups.- Comfort with technology including databases, Google workspace, QA tools and methodologies.- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs with regular stooping, bending, twisting and walking. Prolonged periods of standing required.- Ability to work weekend and afternoon shifts.
- Ability to work in temperatures ranging from under 4 degrees Celsius to ambient room temperature in our production environment.
