**About the role**

The Business Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in the operational management of the properties owned by the Group which includes a portfolio of residential and commercial properties. This position oversees all the operational aspects related to the management of the properties such as developing standard operating procedures, purchasing processes and optimization, the developing of renovation guidelines and standards and understanding our tenants with the key objective of maintaining a high tenant satisfaction.

**Annual Salary Wage Range**: $75,000-90,000

**What you’ll be doing**
- Developing and implementing comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all aspects of property management.
- Working collaboratively with the site management team to identify ways to optimize and standardize purchasing to achieve savings and efficiencies.
- Developing and implementing sales processes and procedures that can help the site teams deliver best in class customer service.
- Train the property management team on SOP’s and processes to ensure compliance.
- Identifying any gaps and work required to comply with the established processes and standard operating procedures.
- Work with site management team on creating renovation guidelines.
- Understand ways in which tenant feedback can be gathered to identify ways to improve tenant satisfaction and ways in which we can increase Loyalty.
- Help the sites create a best-in-class preventative maintenance schedule that complies and aligns with established processes and SOP’s.

**What we’re looking for**
- 2-4 years of building or property management experience.
- Post secondary education in property management or business administration is an asset.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
- A working knowledge of Alberta’s Residential Tenancies Act is an asset.
- Yardi Property Management software experience is an asset.
- Knowledge of Workplace Hazardous Material Information Systems (WHMIS) is an asset.
