**Overview**
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Human Resources Manager. This is a new position to help manage our growing business. We have recently doubled in size to over 50 employees. Currently looking to fill 3-4 positions. You will be respsonsible for recruitment and offering insight to improve our overall HR & culture.
This position will be part time to start under contract, with potential to permanent position for the right person.
**Responsibilities**
- Assist in onboarding new employees and ensure a smooth transition into the company culture.
- Collaborate with ownership to develop training programs and employee engagement initiatives.
- Conduct research on best practices in human resources management to enhance departmental efficiency.
- Maintain compliance with labor laws and company policies while addressing employee inquiries and concerns.
**Experience**
- A background in human resources or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in talent acquisition or HR sourcing will be considered an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on building relationships across all levels of the organization.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months
Pay: $27.00-$32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
