**Ascent Drywall and Coatings is looking for an experienced estimator to join our team.**

Please note, this role is full time, permanent, and is an office-based role.

**Position Description**:
The Estimator role at Ascent includes but is not limited to the following responsibilities:

- Review and generate material takeoffs for drywall, steel stud and paint scopes of work.
- Perform analyses of each project opportunity including material, labour and equipment rates.
- Generate project proposals presenting detailed scopes of work.
- Build relationships and maintain communication with preferred construction partners.
- Manage outsourced estimation teams as required.
- Generate change-order quotes and respond to construction related questions.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of three years experience estimating drywall and steel stud scopes.
- Experience estimating paint scopes is an asset.
- Formal education related to construction is an asset.
- Experience with the following software:

- OST - Required
- QB - Required
- Microsoft Office Suite - Required
- Procore - Asset
- Jobber - Asset
- Comfortable with multi-tasking in a busy environment.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

**Compensation and Benefits**:

- Compensation is commensurate with experience.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $27.00-$40.00 per hour
