**Job Summary**
The Rehabilitation Assistant plays a vital role in supporting healthcare professionals in the rehabilitation process of patients. This position involves working closely with individuals recovering from injuries, surgeries, or managing chronic conditions. The Rehabilitation Assistant will assist in implementing treatment plans, monitoring patient progress, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment for recovery.

**Duties**
- Assist physiotherapists in implementing treatment plans for patients under their care.
- Help patients with exercises and therapeutic activities, ensuring proper techniques are followed.
- Prepare treatment areas and equipment before sessions, maintaining cleanliness and organization.
- Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising physiotherapist.
- Educate patients on exercises and self-care strategies to promote recovery outside of therapy sessions.
- Document patient interactions and progress accurately in medical records.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to _ensure comprehensive patient care._
- _Perform all patients’ booking, billing, scheduling, answering and performing phone calls._
- _Document related activities such as documentation as directed by the Physiotherapist (or clinic staff). _
- _Contacting insurance companies for patients’ benefits claims._
- _Cleaning rooms and making inventory available on time. 5) Ensuring privacy and confidentiality of patients’ and their documents at all times._

**Skills**
- Rehabilitation Assistant Diploma is a must.
- Familiarity with **medical terminology** to accurately communicate with healthcare professionals and understand treatment plans.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and provide compassionate care.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment while also being self-motivated to complete tasks independently.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 14 per week

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Weekends as needed
